Many Car Moving companies do not allow you more than 100 lbs of personal items a vehicle during Vehicle Transporting. These belongings should be in the trunk and not interfere with access to the drivers seat. Rremember, any personal items inside the vehicle will not be covered if they are lost or stolen during in transit.

Your vehicle will need to be inspected before Transport. To make inspection easy, please make sure that the vehicle is clean. The exterior should have minimal dirt and the upholstery should be visible. Proper inspection of your vehicle is only for your benefit. If anything were to happen to you vehicle during Vehicle Transporting and it was not there when we tool possession, we at Vehicle Shipping would take full responsibility. Another inspection will be administered before you take possession.

It is required that you have personal insurance on your vehicle. Typical Vehicle Transport companies do not repair damages due to normal road conditions or conditions of nature. An example of that would be, if your car was damaged while sitting on a parking lot. Even if your vehicle was under the control of the auto transporter when the damage was done, your insurance would be responsible. The carrier is responsible only when the car is directly damaged by the Vehicle Shipping company.

Make sure that your car only has a quarter of a tank of gas. No more, no less. This will be an adequate and acceptable amount for loading and unloading by the Vehicle Transporting company.

Most Vehicle Transport companies apply an extra charge if your vehicle is "inoperable", has a camper shell, is lifted, is oversized, etc. There is a rule of thumb in Vehicle Shipping - if it has anything on it that would make it harder to Moving, you will probably be charged extra to transport it.

Make sure that you have two sets of keys. One for yourself and one for the Vehicle Shipping company. This will make sure that the the Vehicle Transport company has access needed to load and unload your vehicle. Also, make sure that both sets of keys unlock the doors and the ignition.

Disable all car alarm so that it does not get triggered during Transport. This may cause you to accrew additional fees becasue your battery was dpleted.

Make sure that the driver has accurate phone numbers to reach you at all times. This will help the Vehicle Transporting company contact you in the unlikely even of an emergency. If the Vehicle Shipping company cannot contact you, your car may be left at a terminal where it will may get charged additional fees.

Remember, that colder climates may require additional fluid such as antifreeze and windshield washer fluid before Transport. This will ensure that no part of the engine be harmed in sub freezing temperatures. The Vehicle Shipping does not take responsibility for any problems of this nature.
