That is not an easy question to answer. We at Vehicle Shipping, will typically take anywhere from 1 to 14 days to deliver your car. In most cases, a number of cars are being put on a car carrier or a truck with other cars and delivery will be in the the order that makes most sense. Here are some guidelines to help you. All shipping times are estimated and should not be considered as guarantees.

• East Coast to West Coast Auto Moving – approx. 7-14 days
• Midwest to East Coast Auto Moving – approx. 5-8 days
• South to North Auto Moving – approx. 5-8 days

Door-to-door service means your car will be delivered by Vehicle Shipping as close to your door as possible. You need to be aware that many cities have restrictions on where and how large trucks can go in some residential areas. Vehicle Transport trucks are huge and do need lots of space to maneuver and turn around. Be sure to check if your residence is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns. All these factors can make an impact about where you car is delivered.

Vehicle Shipping does provide some insurance. Their insurance does cover any and all damages caused by accidents in transit, changes in the vehicle’s condition, and unforeseeable damage as a result of mishandling your car.

All Auto Moving companies are different, but cash, cashier check, money orders, Visa and Master Card will be accepted. We make it our policy not to accept personal or business checks. It is common to have all payment arranged prior to pick up for Car Moving.

Federal law (US Department of Transportation) states that a truck licensed to carrying automobiles cannot carry any personal items. All personal belongings that are left inside the vehicle are not insured and the carrier is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Either you or a designated person must be present upon pick up of your vehicle. A contract or “bill of landing” will be signed at the origination point. If you cannot be there, please give the Vehicle Shipping prior notice. Be aware that after you place your order and than you decided to change the plan an additional charge may apply. Also, If you schedule a day for pick up and don’t show up, your car may be turned over to a tow yard or company. At that point, you will deal with them.

We suggest that you schedule your Auto Moving as soon as you know the dates. The fastest moved cars can be delivered is one to three days depending on the distance.
