Where do I Transport my vehicle from to get it to Hawaii?

There are only three ports in the United States that can take your car to Hawaii - Richmond, California, Long Beach, California, and Seattle Washington.

How do I get my vehicle to one these ocean ports to Transport to Hawaii?

You have 2 options, we can transport it to the port from anywhere in the United States or you can drop it off.

What do I need to book my Moving to Hawaii?

You need basic information: Name, mailing address, physical and phone numbers of the shipper-the person for whom the vehicle is to be shipped. Name, mailing address, physical and phone numbers of the consignee- the person for whom the vehicle is shipping to. You need the following information to place a booking to Hawaii: year, make, model, license plate number, color, and VIN number.

How do I book my vehicle?

Vehicle Shipping is here to help! Simple call one of our representatives and they will give you everything you need to book your order. Be aware that Auto Moving booking is required prior to delivery of your vehicle to the port.

What forms of payment are accepted?

All Auto Moving companies are different, but cash, cashier check, money orders, Visa and Master Card will be accepted. We make it our policy not to accept personal or business checks. It is common to have all payment arranged prior to pick up for Car Moving.

What do I need to do to my vehicle to prepare it for Hawaii Car Moving?

Use common sense - all vehicles need a clean exterior to inspect your car at the load port. Also, things like cracked windshields or windows, damaged vehicles or dirty cars cannot be accepted for shipment to Hawaii. Also, bring the current vehicle registration.

Can I ship anything inside of my vehicle to Hawaii?

No, only tools and accessories normally attached or installed permanently are accepted. However, a child car seat is acceptable.

How much fuel does my vehicle need when shipping it?

The guidelines recommend only ¼ tank of gas. If the vehicle has more than that , the port will not accept the vehicle. In some cases the port will drain the fuel for an additional charge. U.S. Coast Guard regulation 176.905 states that fuel tanks may not be more than ¼ full.

How long does it take get my car to Hawaii?

When your car is loaded, the ocean time is approximately five days. The port may take an additional 5-7 days to off load the containers. The vessel are unloaded by a first-come, first-serve basis upon arrival. So just because your vehicle is in port does not mean it is ready.. Customer service at the port will notify you when your vehicle is ready for pickup.

Can I leave my vehicle at the port after it arrivals in Hawaii?

Upon arrival, customer service will call you when your vehicle is ready for pickup. The state of Hawaii will allow five days to pick up your vehicle. After five days there is a storage charge of $35.00 per day.

Cars shipped in individual containers, but many sea carriers will allow partial containers of household goods. If necessary, we can deliver the container to your house for packing, then retrieve it for delivery to the docks. All of our transporters are skillfully trained and certified.
